In 2012 when Google Chrome surpassed the IE popularity numbers people started taking it more seriously. It was a smart move by Google when it added a range of toolkit with lot of improvements in its Chrome’s features. Synchronization with other web application, creation, building, analysis, maintenance and improvements of websites were the primary focus of the extensions introduced. I can’t take all in one post hence here is my list of 15 Best Google Chrome Extensions for Designers:
Window resizer extension helps in showing several screen resolutions by resizing the size of the window. Web designers who want to test their layouts on different resolutions on laptops, desktops and mobile devices can use it.
It allows designers to edit any webpage without saving those changes for experiments. This extension is very handy when the purpose is to play and experiment with the website without causing any damage to it.
Cropping image becomes very handy with this extension. It helps in taking specific portions of a webpage. It is the simple, no-frills Chrome extension. It provides pixel-perfect accuracy.
I was a habitual IE user and hence I was bit reluctant to surrender it to Google Chrome. But gradually I switched to it like many others who have changed their browsers from Firefox, IE etc. to Chrome. Reason is obvious; chrome is easy to install and is freely available and it offers useful extensions which are equivalent to the add-ons and plugins that comes integrated with other browsers. It is not an exhaustive list and I encourage you to research more.
