Fractals are becoming more and more popular between designers and they have a good reason for it -with programs like Apophysis such fractal creation isn’t tiresome process, just play with settings, variables, scripts, plugins and get unbelievable results. At first I wanted to create one huge post with inspiration, tutorials and resources, but I reconsidered because then article wouldn’t be very clear. So there will be 3 parts: Inspiration, Resources and Tutorials. To get Your attention the first post will be inspirational so You could see what can be done with such small programm just by testing and playing with settings. Apophysis

Apophysis is a freeware Windows program for designing and rendering fractal flames. It was created by Mark Townsend and has since been improved and updated by Peter Sdobnov, Piotr Borys and Ronald Hordijk. Fractal Flames were originally developed in 1992 by Scott Draves.
