Clownville, is a portraits collection clowns with bizarre appearance and somewhat feared by French photographer, Eolo Perfido. Perfido said this Horror clowns portraits collection was inspired by the famous silent film star Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, who was forced to express all their feelings because they can not speak.
Modern clowns first appeared in the late 18th century and is linked to the circus and comedy. The word itself comes from the Scandinavian languages means “ugly”, “rude”. This is why Perfido Eolo makes viewers impressed when he turned the pictures of humor, fun clowns into scary and haunting photos.
