40 amazing aerial photography taking by drone

    aerial_photography_41

Photography by drone is becoming increasingly popular not only by usability but also because of the shimmering, monumental photographs. Several years ago, when you want to take a aerial photography, the only way you can do it is to sit on a helicopter and fly to the location where you want to capture. This extremely expensive and image quality is not really good. However, after the idea to take pictures with drones was born, there are a lot of beautiful aerial shots with excellent quality are taken only by the amateur photographers. That shows, aerial photography has become so much easier with the help of drones.

    a-drone

However, the cost of a drone is still quite high compared to the income of many amateur photographers, so if you intend to take an aerial photography with drone, you may have to pay attention to the following things:

    • Nowadays with the advancement of technology and the attention of developers to drone technology, they have been designed to be capable of carrying 1 high quality camera. With GPS flight control system, they can carry and fly in one fixed location, and can fully control.
    • The next thing you need to consider when using drones to photograph or any other purpose, which is to choose a drone capable of carrying a total weight of 1 camera with battery and lens, and a support frame. With these small and light cameras, the use of a 4 motor drone is reasonable. However, with the big camera which provides high image quality, especially DSLR, you will need at least 6 or 10 motor drone will be better.
    • For the filming, the most important hardware besides the camera is 2 or 3-axis bracket.Besides keep your shots steady and allows tilting the camera as in type 2 axis, 3-axis bracket system allows the camera to run horizontally. On the drone which landing system can collapse, the camera can be rotated a full 360 degrees without any problems while filming. Attach the camera too strict without shelving will create the video can not be used.
    • With photos, even with the idea that anti-vibration system does not matter, but the fact not so and bracket is still necessary things. First, it gives your camera a little ability to control independently from the aircraft, means the camera can lock the focus on one subject and capture the right moments, even in windy conditions induced vibration setting. In addition, the system of optical image stabilization based on the lens, a camera can certainly reduce the shutter speed to a minimum you can use. In daylight it’s probably not the first problem, but in low light conditions, reducing the shutter speed is actually a great thing.
    • For control, the aerial photography is increasingly turning to so-called “FPV” to supplement or replace the traditional controller. FPV is that the controller can see the world through the perspective of the camera mounted on a drone.

    aerial-photography-42

If you have mastered the skill of using drones and have a good digital camera and also pay attention to the things we have mentioned earlier, here are the results you can achieve. These following beautiful aerial photography are gathered below will hardly be taken back a few years ago, without the help of a drone. You can find many more photos like that on Dronestagram.

How to have a beautiful underwater photographs

    underwater-photographs-12

Underwater photographs always create shimmering images and unique. If you have not tried this style shooting, the following guidelines will be of much help to you.

    underwater-photographs-9

Underwater photography is a unique shooting style, the images taken in this way quite eye-catching and attractive but to capture such images requires experience and technical and expensive equipment. If you have a beach trip, try to practice and shoot under water at some guidance in this article.

    underwater-photographs

    Practice in pool:

    underwater-photographs-22

If you plan to take underwater photographs you should try shooting in a pool. Indispensable is a protective bag, most of the camera point-and-shoot and DSLR are available common plastic bags to hold the camera and lens. This type watertight bag, and can be used to capture without any effect due to the water. Also a polarizing filter reduces reflections unwanted shine from the water.

    underwater-photographs-20

    Motion capture:

    underwater-photographs-28

Practice remain underwater for long periods and keep the camera steady. Low ISO settings to get a smooth images with no noise particles, a shutter speed of 1/250 sec or more. You can use the flash on the camera when shooting in the pool to freeze the motion. Wear goggles if you can not keep your eyes open under water a long time and try to shoot some funny photos with people who are swimming in the water.

    underwater-photographs-25

    Splitting the water surface:

    underwater-photographs-10

Major technical challenges that photographers face when wishing to photograph water surface splits is the difference between the value of the exposure of the image above than below the water surface. This occurs due to refraction under water, affecting the upper part. However, this can be overcome by using a dedicated filter split diopter.

    underwater-photographs-11

    underwater-photographs-12

    Kepp stable:

Keep an underwater camera steady is a challenge for anyone, because water is always moving. So people need to practice diving to capture the comfortable and familiar with the movement of the water before making underwater photographs. Do not hold the camera with one hand, can also ask a friend or a rock to stabilize the body.

    underwater-photographs-23

    Light:

When underwater photography, you will need to use a dedicated flashlight Flash, also known as a strobe. A conventional flash will not be strong enough to shoot under low light marine waters. In such conditions, if set at its lowest ISO can cause noise particle images.

    underwater-photographs-2

    The recommended settings:

    underwater-photographs-6

When taking pictures underwater, you should choose the lowest ISO you can, to get images withou noise. You’ll need a shutter speed of 1 / 125s – / 500s to freeze motion – such as when shooting a school of fish. Use a small aperture (f / 11-f / 20) to get the depth of field, clearly objects both in the foreground and background. Shooting in RAW mode for color correction easier.

    underwater-photographs-5

Equipment is recommended for underwater photographs :

Finally, as mentioned above, the waterproof bags for cameras is necessary when shooting underwater. You will need a flash if shooting in the dark waters.

The best type of lens for underwater use and wide-angle macro lens. Telephoto lens is useless because it can not get enough light to produce clear images.

Useful tips when taking Backlight photographs

    backlight photographs

Backlight photographs is capture subject is dark on lighter backgrounds. Objects placed in the photograph taken in a way like a shadow on a bright landscape. Usually the shadow is done contrary to sunlight, or sometimes because of our light source creates. Object completely black and is displayed through the shape, contour lines around. Backlit photographed is a great technique to describe the mysterious, emotional in a simply way and highlight the content you want to transfer to the viewer. This is the kind of photography does not reveal everything clear, only a part of the image to the viewer’s imagination to find out. There are so many young photography enthusiasts want to express this genre but do not know the specific practices of how to get a perfect picture. Here are some techniques that can help you get the magic in the great backlight photographs.

    backlight photographs

    1. Arrange the subject

The first and basic thing you need to remember is to set objects to shoot (that is to darken the object) in front of the light. The amazing pictures were taken when only a single light source of light contrasting with object placement. Light sources should be covered by the object to maintain exposure rate. Selection object that distinction clear, crisp and bold contrast to the light; should not choose small objects with insignificant details.

    backlight photographs

    2. Light source in backlight photographs

When it comes to light, you should be sure to turn off the camera flash (if you use a regular camera). Try adjusting the light of the background instead of interest in light of the object. Objects are made up without affecting the background. If too much light, the light will illuminate the object and make the object visible. If not enough light, the wallpaper will become gray and spoil this photo . The best way to deal with this is to ensure that the background to brighter objects.

    backlight photographs

    3. Exposure Lock

Once you have arranged the object in the exact position and settled the elements of light, the next step is the layout correctly frame and lock the exposure on the background, not the subject.

    backlight photographs

    4. Focusing on the subject

Let’s focus on the subject instead of the background. This will ensure clearer subjects instead of being blurred, and the law makes the shadow perspective is better. Approached your subject more that will help you easily set the most powerful light source behind the subject and allows you to change the angle to get a variety of different images. In case if both you and the subject can not move, try zooming into the image.
