  1. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born in the city of Mecca in 570 AD. His father Abdullah had died a few months before his birth. His mother also passed away in his childhood. He was brought up by his grandfather ‘Abd al-Muttalib. ‘Abd al-Muttalib was the most respected person of the clan of Hashim and the tribe of Quraysh. The Quraysh was the main and most powerful tribe in Mecca, ‘Abd al-Muttalib was seen as the head of all of Mecca. In the Mecca, Quraysh had a special status because they used to be in charge of the Holy Ka’ba.

  2. Charles Dickens was born on 7, February 1812 in Portsmouth, England. Charles Dickens was the second of the eight children of John and Elizabeth Dickens. His mother Elizabeth had been serving to Lord Crew and his father Johan Dickens worked in the Naval Pay Office as a clerk. When Charles was young his father Johan Dickens was in jailed for debt. When Charles Dickens was twelve year old, he start working with a blacking warehouse, that managed by his mother’s relative. During working at black warehouse he brushed with hard time and he deeply affected by poverty. Later he described these experiences in the semi autobiographical novel “David Copperfield”. Correspondingly, the concern for social justice and reform which he faced later in his writings cultivated the harsh conditions that he experienced at the blacking warehouse.
